Puget Sound Cooperative Credit Union, 800.273.1550 – To date, PSCCU has helped more than 3,000 Washingtonians become "solar citizens". Energy-Smart loans are available for solar, heating & cooling, water heaters, energy efficiency, and small scale wind & geothermal systems. Maximum loan amount is $50,000, with a maximum term of 15 years. Interest rate is based upon the borrower's credit (4.25% APR and up).
Clean Energy Credit Union, 720.479.7900 - CECU is a financial institution focused solely on providing loans that help people afford clean energy products and services such as solar electric systems, electric vehicles, home energy efficiency retrofits, electric-assist bicycles, and net-zero energy homes. For solar electric projects, CECU offers borrowers the option of choosing one or both of the following loans:
A 12- to 18-month loan to cover the 30% solar tax credit, and/or
A 12-year, fixed rate loan on the remaining 70% (or less) of the system cost
